20130219-182748.jpgI have big plans for my future garden so when I found out that the greenhouse above was going to be demolished I knew something had to be done. Currently I have a balcony garden and no land to speak of but those are just small details really.20130219-182915.jpg

Luckily I wasn’t alone in my thoughts that this greenhouse needed to be rescued. It took four of us all day and a few trips to Rona for some “take down” tools (hack saws are such are great invention) but we managed to disassemble this 20×60 foot beauty.

“The Foreman” a.k.a Uncle Bill put in a hard days work and also made sure I stayed on task and didn’t leave the tools lying around.

James looked after the electrical components: “The power has been cut off right?” as he snipped through some wiring……

Rob looked after the logistics and managed to get us a truck to load it into when we realized that we couldn’t leave all the pieces in a pile in case they went walking overnight.

We did it! Now where are we going to put it……………………

    make a garden.
